Inspiration: 
After working many years for various employers, Mr. Galicki decided to utilize his talents in the engineering field to create his own business. In 1987, he developed Design Drafting Services, a full-service design company. Utilizing up to three contracted employees, the Firm is engaged in parametric solid modeling, mechanical design and drafting, and engineering support services. Working with a variety of clients in the United States and abroad, Design Drafting Services implements ideas in the production of electron beam accelerators, lasers, EMP generators, various other High Voltage and High Current systems, intense UV for Illumination and sterilization, Optics, Spectrometers, multi-spectral imagers and other spectroscopy devices, Medical Optics and Devices, engineering materials, aeronautic and automotive equipment. 

Focusing on developing new technologies for other companies Mr. Galicki has had a successful career in engineering. Added to the list of his accomplishments was his assistance in the design and construction of the Boeing AEHP, a 2Mv 250kA Lightning Simulator, the NSWC HPD, a 2Mv Horizontal Pulsed Dipole EMP Generator, LANL ATAC, an 8Mv Flash X-ray generator, Westinghouse Hanford, a large Magneform machine for magnetic welding of Nuclear fuel rods, and the GTE HEP, a mobile 250Ka current injector, and many other systems for Maxwell Laboratories. Mr. Galicki also led the design team for the e-SCRUB program at S.A.I.C., which is a two megawatt electron gun for dry scrubbing of coal fired smokestacks. This program is now operated by Virginia Accelerators Corporation. He also designed and assisted in the construction of UV powered backlights for military aviation and aerospace applications. Hoping to continue to provide the best quality services to his clients, Mr. Galicki's future plans include assisting clients in researching and developing new technologies.
